Sean, Mappugers,
your idea with the foil was great! The wobbling has complete gone. I put
two layers of *very* thin foil between the axle and the hub (some sort
of "rescue foil" with an golden/silver surface). Thank you!
Using this foil I was also able to reduce mirror shift (to nearly zero).
Just put a square of about 1"x2" between the small cylinders of the main
mirror.
