Big Cheeze award...??????............You should take a better
look...........when the motor stops the Earth is the 2 speed that your
looking for.............all drives works in this manner. I was not going
to answer this question thinking you would figure it out or someone would
point out the obvious but you never know. Easy to point fingers towards
Meade even when you looking in the mirror. At 2X speed it allows
movement toward the West for drive correction (the motor speeds up) and
the East all the motor has to do to guide correct is stop. Meade didn't
invent this, this is the way it have been done for years. Thinking back,
I'm pretty sure I have made this mistake myself.........so, give me the
Cheeze too. Lets make it a pizza...............
