I'm looking to put in a permanent pier on my property, the problem is I =
have wooded property. If I want to view to the east then I have to set =
up in the driveway, a view to the west is behind the house. south is =
almost out of the question. I was thinking of putting in 3 piers around =
my property .
=20
Has any one made a pier that has a wedge built into it (as in the =
permanent pier sold for the 16" lx200). I'm at 42 deg. do I cut my pipe =
bollards at that angle and reweld them,
do you incorporate a fine adjustment in the base where the telescope =
meets the pier to maintain an alignment. I don't want to reset my wedge =
every time I move my telescope.

I have all the materials I need to make them , I just need specs. (I'm a =
concrete contractor)
The only web site I found is the one advertising for the astro pier for =
sale..=20
any books that I have overlooked, that anyone can recommend or other =
resources would be appreciated.

thanks Bob Manning =20

( If this is getting a little of topic you can e-mail me direct. =
although I will be putting a LX200 on it.. there it is on topic now. =
