I agree, if you bought the scope from a local dealer returning the
scope would be a simple process and you would be running the same day.
Buying mail order you should have the dealer handle all problems from
when you open the box. Having to handle your own problems seems like
your getting ripped off by the dealer. Meade will work with the dealer
and the dealer will work with you. ..............................ric
