While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hello all:

My fix kit is on the way. My serial communications broke down last fall and I
just now decided to continue to puruse it. Talked to Meade yesterday, should see
the parts soon.

Is there anything in particular that I should know about swapping out the
"motherboard" that isn't covered by the instructions that come with the kit?
And is there any reason to swap out the motors even though my motors seem to be
working fine?
