While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

You did mean the Pictor is ID=4 LUN 0 ? or are you really using different
LUNs (Logical Unit Numbers)? Is there anything else on the SCSI bus? Have
you changed any of the defaults for the Adaptec card?

I've just bought that same SCSI card to go in my own desktop so I'll try it
when I get chance, I normally use a SlimSCSI 1460 on my laptop.
