No. But it has lots of goodies on its own. And together, there
are additional things you can do by switching back and forth
between windows.

I'm not sure how to answer this one. Yes, it does add value to
the combination.

ACP works with TheSky AND they run side by side. Actually, ACP
serves as TheSky's link to the telescope as opposed to TheSky
talking directly to the scope. Only ONE serial connections is
needed to the scope, and it is controlled by ACP. TheSky uses its
"TelescopeAPI" to talk to ACP (which acts like a scope).
