Hello,

some days ago I had placed in this list the question, how long the cable can be
for a remote maintenance of my LX 200 and Pictor 416.

I extended the cable from the SCSI controller(Adaptec 2400 UW, Pentium 100) to
the BOX with 14 meters and the Pictor functioned perfectly. The extension cable
is a serial Kabel(KABSER25BB10)that cost only about 21 Euro (22 USD).

I hope this information will be usefull.
