I got the camera in September of 97. I don't know how long it had sat in
the dealer's showroom for. I've maybe used it between 20 and 30 nights
since purchasing it. The weather in South Jersey is pretty humid in summer,
but not as bad as most of Florida, for example.
I believe the horizontal-looking artifacts are the result of download
glitches. I still use Pview 2.0 on a 16-color 386sx laptop which *does*
work for the most part (115kbaud). Occasionally, I try one of the newer
versions (of Pview), but haven't had a great deal of success with any of
them so far, though the trend is positive. I notice that about one download
in eight or nine will display problems akin to this one.
Cheers,
