Sorry to see the icing problem.
The best bet is
#1 Do not open it yourself.
Amy will ask you if you opened it yourself. If so, it voids the warranty.
They will correct it at no charge, even if it is past warranty.
Downside it takes 6 weeks and you have to send Camera, controller box &
cable.
But they do a good job.

Subject: [M]: 416xt Icing
Could someone please take a minute to confirm that the symptoms shown on
the image at http://users.snip.net/~blair/astro/img/badmoon.jpg (apart from
the lousy focus) is showing icing (and other download and processing
artifacts)?
