While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hello Dan,

thanks a lot for Your quick response on my request.

Do You realy use also the white Styrofoam pieces of the shipping case, when
transporting the scope with the nylonmade Meade transportation-case, Meade
offers as an additional equipment?

I was told by a dealer of the German importer, that tis pieces are not used
with this bag, because there is not enough space inside. He told me further,
that these white foamparts are only used, when shipping the scope with the
shipping case of the delivery!

Best regards from Munich - Bavaria! Yours sincerly

Peter

I also use this case to transport my scope to the viewing sites.

I find it much easier to have all the accesories in a separate case since
they
won't all fit in the LX200 case.

No, there is no room in the foam so you must detach it.

I try to put as little wear-and-tear on the foam as possible, so I don't put
anything else in the case except for the scope itself. Don't forget to use
the
two pieces of white styrofoam when you pack it up.
