you can get this, and an astounding amount of other info, from the
Astronomical Data Center. search for that with your browser. if you like
catalogs and lists, you will think you are in heaven.
they also sell this stuff on CD-ROMS. i bought volume 4 (for $10!) and it
has more catalogs than i will ever be able to use (being an amateur),
including the GCVS, SAO, 3C, Lynga, WDS, and others. i got very tired of
downloading, so i decided to send the $10 instead.
