While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I recently have had two occurances of a Dec problem with my new LX200
10". On both occurrances I was tracking M51 high in the sky. After an
hour or so the amp lights go from 4.5 to 7.5 or 8 and don't go back
down. The last time this happened I was not able to manually move Dec
but RA was fine (I didn't try GOTO). If I turn off the power and then
back on every things fine again. This has only happened twice, but I'm
concerned that this is not something that should be happening.

Has anyone else experienced this type of problem?
