[Not sure if this went through the first time on my other email account, =
so sorry for the duplicate.]
Hiya all,
Im using a 416xt Pictor / LX200 12" connected to a Fujitsu Lifebook =
300c
(300c Im pretty sure)... I'm using an adaptec SCSI card plugged into it
(laptop). I forget the model # but I know it works with the 416xt (saw =
a
message a long time ago on it). Anyhow, I don't have my mail archived, =
so I
can't find that specific message to solve this problem:
I can not get the laptop to establish communication with the Pictor. =
I
tried using a Serial connection and it worked just fine (slow, but =
fine),
but the SCSI just hangs after clicking Connect , and then errors out. I
have the SCSI ID on the box set to 7 (was at 4 default, changed it back =
to
4, no work) and set to 7 on the software. I tried 4 and 7 (7 should be =
it
since that is the SCSI id I have set?). If anyone could help out with =
this
would be great. I have not used the telescope since NOVEMBER and I got =
it
in October (busybusy, coldcold but oooh nice skies), it's getting nice =
out
now and I really want to put this puppy to work!
Thanks in advance ;)
