You need to check the original post. Ed is not being disrespectful. It is the
original poster who used the phrase "Depriving a village somewhere of an idiot"
in reference to his e-mail identification. If you automatically quote his
original message in your response then you get the result "Depriving a village
somewhere of an idiot wrote:" without even trying.
