While you're here, how about checking out the
Astronomy Book
List ? |
If you read the description on the Field of View screen, you need to tell the
software the angle between the 'up' for the writing on the camera and North.
Since you are in the southern hemisphere and if you put the camera on the scope
like I do so I can read the label properly, this means entering 180 or -180 as
the angle. Of course, if you already did this then I have egg on my face. If
you put the camera in so the writing is upside down and enter 0 for the angle,
then I have another option for egg on my face.
Early in the 6.4 series, the logic was changed to set the target temperature to
30C on (normal) exit from the program or on disconnect. This is not needed
because of the two stage peltier but some users insisted on a safe warm up.
I think that you are the first that has asked to blink negative images. In
fact, I cannot recall anyone asking to display negative images. I will make
sure that Meade is informed about this request.
As for the ini file, it does look like some the the parameters are missing (and
if you do not have the readme.txt files you really do not know what they are).
I think I have copies of all of the readme files for the 6.4 series, perhaps I
could combine them and post them for people. Thoughts?
