Renato,

I am running Pictorview with a 416XT SCSI connected with Windows 98. It
occasionally gets a "timeout" error, but I have not tried to optimize the
timings. Many other people run the same setup. Are you sure the 1542CP is
the ONLY SCSI adapter in the machine. I found that my CD ROM has an
on-board SCSI interface that did not show up in many of the diagnostics.
That made my plug in adapter #1 instead of #0. A change in the Pictor INI
file fixed it. It is much faster than serial.

There are still problems with the software such as mosaic, anti-blooming,
auto-exposure, auto focus that either don't work at all or partially work,
but 6.44 is a vast improvement over 6.42.
