While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Don't use red light if you're running a typical unfiltered CCD camera.
They are most sensitive in the red regions, so you're doing the worst
possible thing for light pollution of the scope and camera. I think
the Starlight MX/HX cameras are not so sensitive in red. Or if you are
using a V filter, then this is not so much of an issue.
