The mounts for the 10" and 12" are identical except for a shim =
piece used to widen the fork for the 12" OTA. The 12" is thus a much =
heavier OTA on the same mount as the lighter 10". Thus the 12" is less =
well behaved mechanically than the 10". All LX scopes have some =
mechanical deficencies in my opinion. Many of these can be overcome. I =
