While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

You've got that right! and it is "somewhereS" ... there are glitches
and illegal timings in the Pictor SCSI. I have looked at it with a
SCSI sniffer and it is unquestionably the dirtiest SCSI interface I
have ever seen (not that I am an expert). It's success depends on the
level of forgiveness of the SCSI card, that's why it works only with
"some" adapters.

Still, if you can get it to work, the Pictor is a good camera.
