While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

If the fuse didn't blow under stall current from the RA motor, the fuse
is the wrong value. A slow-blo fuse, which would allow starting current,
but blow after some time at stall current, would solve this problem.

Fuses are the most un predictable of electronic components . Their
tolerances can be as wide as a barn door. When I stalled my Lx200 so
cremating the motor it was using the original factory fuse. The stall
currents of the motors will vary as well, some of them will fry at lesser
currents than others without taking the fuse out. If both tolerances are at
the wrong ends then this can be another contribution to failure.
