While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I'm amazed at the ingenuity of this group! All those suggestions to
fix the cord strangulation problem are great. But I must say, an
extremely trivial software patch would be far better. Why spend
money on something mechanical when software will do the job? Now, if
Meade would just let us at the source.......

"I know that I am mortal and the creature of a day; but when I search
out the massed wheeling circles of the stars, my feet no longer touch
the earth, but, side by side with Zeus himself, I take my fill of
ambrosia, the food of the gods." -- Claudius Ptolemaeus (Ptolemy)
