I have also had good luck with it. (In fact, I posted a "review" to MAPUG
several months ago - I'll email you a copy of it if you're interested.)
In addition to James' comments, I'd add that you should also have
accurate time on your computer - to within a few seconds at least. You can
get accurate time from WWV (shortwave 5000/10,000/15,000 KHz), or CHU in
Canada. (3330 kHz, 7,335 kHz, and 14,670 kHz).
Also, most GPS receivers will give very accurate time displays.
If neither of those options are available, use one of the internet time
services (the web page at http://www.ee.udel.edu/~mills/ntp/ will give you a
starting point.) to set your watch the afternoon before, and almost any
watch should maintain plenty accurate enough time to keep you accurate for
that evening.
Also, be sure you have done a very accurate alignment. You should have
your alignment where it will center any star in the eyepiece when you call
it up. If you have several eyepieces available, use a high power for
alignment, and start out with your lowest power for viewing (especially for
the lower-altitude satellites, since they move so fast.)
I usually try to download the orbital element files the same day - the
older the files are, the more difficulty you'll have.
Good luck
