I've not tried it under WIN98 but I do use a 1460B PCMCIA under WIN95.
The Controller Box should say 'CONNECTED SCSI' when the connection is
established successfully (IIRC). I do know that using the drivers
originally supplied with the 1460B I could not get a connection, I had
to go to the Adaptec site and download the latest drivers that are
listed there - I suggest you do the same. I don't load the 16-bit
drivers (the real-mode drivers).
