While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I have both and enjoy the Thousand Oaks filter. Some have expressed
concen over excessive "pinholes" in their filters. Even though they
aren't dangerous, I would not accept one with this problem--mine has
none. I have the full aperture. Tracking is easy--just DON'T use your
eyepiece, finder or Telrad to acquire the sun, use the sun's shadow to
line up the scope--when it is smallest, you are lined up.
