While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

The Hong Kong Dealer (who provides excellent back up) has just fitted new
Dec drive and main board. I recently had a Dec runaway. At first this fix
did not work, but after doing some reading on MAPUG I found someone (well
lots of people) with exactly the same problem. It turns out that the culprit
was actually the Dec cable. The red wire was not connecting properly.

And now to my point. When I touch the Dec knob I get a mild electrical
tingle. The scope also does not track properly. Has anyone got any
suggestion where to start? The dealer is coming back this weekend to have a
look but he is not an electrical expert so any suggestions will be welcome.

Thanks

Andrew
