Amen. I was one of the complainants. Thanks VERY MUCH for posting
this. I'd like to point something out:

While this is under "Message Content Suggestions" it should also be
under "Email Program Settings Suggestions". Try shutting off the
"automatically quote message in replies" (or the equivalent) setting
in your mailer for a month. Then go back. Notice how tough it is to
wade past all that quoting from others just to get to the actual
content of the message. If you really want to get brave, turn on the
"threading" feature of your mailer and see how easy it is to read
previous messages for context.
