While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

On page 66 of the manual:
15,928 SAO stars > 7th Mag.
12,921 UGC objects
7,840 NGC objects
5,386 IC objects
21,815 GCVS stars
351 alignment stars
110 Messier objects
9 the Moon and planets

Except for the SAO catalog, all the others are complete.

There is no "official" list of these objects. It is fairly easy to
write software that will pull the information from your scope.
