That makes sense to me. Now that the ST7E is available, which is about as
sensitive as the ST6, it only makes sense to retire the ST6. I am sure
there will still be special applications where the ST6 will be the camera
of choice. But I can't see why anyone would go with the ST6 now that it
has lost it's advantage of QE and blue sensitivity to the new Kodak E chips
which provide less noise and higher resolution.

PS It is strange that I first heard about this change on MAPUG. There is
no word of this on the SBIGUSER list.
