While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Thank you all for the input on the allan key size. Since Denmark is all metric, I'll try a 3.5mm, thats a lot easier to get than 9/64.

I know Frank, I too find it hard to believe that the spring has lost it's force, but I can lift the worm into full contact just by adding a little force. There is no visual end play neither in the hinge nor in the worm. Maybe the hinge just need some lubrication, after all the scope is 7 years old by now.
