ac ra motor wouldn't work on a starfinder, and my only hope was to
contact Meade and see if they had any old ac ra motors laying around
(which they used to use on SF's before they went dc).

Aargh.

When I first ordered my starfinder I called JMI about the mototrak v. At that
time they did not have an ac motor for the starfinder but I was told they
were working on it and wanted me to send them my mount when I got it for them
to work out a modification for the mount. Well, it took so long for me to get
it from Meade that JMI told me they already had someone send one in and had
an ac motor for it.Thats all I can tell you. I never did get the JMI but got
the Magellan II instead. I then sold it after a while and now have a G-11.
Good luck! sorry I could not help.

Fred
