Thanks for clearing up the confusion. I do track things by email
address. It can confuse things when people have multiple email boxes.
I stand corrected.

If your scope is not answering the :GA# :GZ# and :GS# commands with
the responses listed in your "blue book" Appendix F Section 3, then it
is definitely broken, though in a way that is almost incredible. One
thing to check is the ROM revision. It should be 3.34L or 4.34L for
any scope purchased new in the last 3 years.
