While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Group,

As usual, I haven't been paying attention. I need a simple LX200 remote
control application that will allow me to run the 2 star alignment routines
over the RS232 port. I found Scott Baker's SBSAT program, but it doesn't
have the align functions. I could write one in BASIC, but if there is
something already out there (preferably Win95, but DOS would be OK I think)
it would save me time and aggravation!

I'm setting up a video system with a video finder as well, and thus should
be able to remotely align after initial alignment at the scope with the
hand controller.

TIA

Paul
