While you're here, how about checking out the
Astronomy Book
List ? |
I have had some imaging fun lately. I just updated my site with the last couple
of months
haul. The funnest shot is a 21 image half moon moziac. It was automated with
pview (416XT / 12" LX200). Just stand back, walk around and talk to observing
partners.
Auto save, auto close, beep-slew, beep-slew. All I had to do was stitch it
together.
My only worry was if I'd burn a hole in my CCD, 12" is too much glass! Makes a
great
poster though (I shank it way down for the web site). I'm also happy with my
Mars shot,
even though its not as cool as the big color one recently posted by one of you.
Go to the
bottom of the "Gallery" at <http://surf.to/Brewster>. 3C273 and M87 with active
jet
are also just new.
Ready for summer wide field work.
