While you're here, how about checking out the
Astronomy Book

This is the bug I call the SCSI_DELAY bug. I will bet that were
you to use a stop watch you'd discover that for a 5 min exposure
the shutter really is open 5 min but that the countdown timer
runs out 3 sec too soon. Start timng when you hear the shutter
open, stop timing when you here the shutter close. On long
exposures you need to add SCSI_DELAY time in order to hold off on
image download. I've tested this on 3 pretty different computers.
The 5min/3sec ratio seems to hold.
Annoying, but the work-around works. The bug I really hope is fixed
is the focus mode bug where the high pixel value drifts down to
background even though the star is still in the box. Ralph?
