While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

BTW, Starry Night works very nicely in this respect, too. When
you're showing a small enough piece of sky (less than 1/2 degree,
IIRC) you can ask it to go to the DSS Web site and download an image
of that exact same piece of sky. Very convenient (of course, the
planet won't be in the DSS image but many many more stars and faint
galaxies will be).
