While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

$100, I'll have to find the ad in Astronomy Mag for the name, but I'm
sure someone out there in mapug-land knows who I'm talking about.

Jay,

I stopped by Howie Glatter's booth at the NEAF show a month ago. He was
there demoing his devices, which were impressively well machined,
constructed, and tested from what I saw and heard. He had both holographic
and regular beam versions, and 1.25" and 1.25"/2" versions. I know he
advertises in S&T, maybe Astronomy also. His ad mentions a "removable
diffratcitve-optic centering target" included which "facilitates alignment
and centering of most telescope optics, including Newwtonians, Cassegrains,
and refractors. Directly centers f/2.7 through f/35 optics!"

Seeing as Meade scopes are in that range, I suppose this is almost on-topic
;-)

He's on the web at www.collimator.com
His phone/fax is (718) 796-3203 (Bronx, NY)

John
