You don't need to buy any extra hardware, I have a 12" f/5.3 Newt that needs
accurate collimation, and the best way of doing it is with a star image. I
made a laser collimator but this only gets reasonably close - final tweaks
are always done using the star test. Your money would be better spent on a
high quailty primary cell (and maybe a secondary holder) with facilities for
accurate adjustment rather than on an expensive laser collimator. Just my
opinion...
