While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Like all good story tellers, Greg delayed the punch-line, keeping us
all in suspense about that laser right up to the end.
I have tried to use a Christmas Tree decoration to reflect the sun,
but I have difficulty in getting a great enough distance between the
scope and the target. However, Mapugers may like to know that on
a trip to a local dark(er) site the 6-year old son of the property owner
saw the shiny bauble in my toolbox. "Do you know what that's for" I
asked. He pondered: "its a pretend star" he replied. That child will
go far!
