Scott,

I encountered a similar problem a few weeks ago. The camera simply
refused to cool down but all other functions were available. The bug
disappeared after I disconnected the cable which goes from the camera
head to the control box by mistake while everything was powered up. I
think it was the connector going into the control box. It might be worth
a try.
