If I remember correctly the problems with the one shot color camera idea
were mainly due to the insensitivity of the chips available to do it. The
other factors involved were based on the fact that you are stuck with the
in built filters on the chips themselves.External filters,color wheels etc
etc need forty times the work with mono chrome cameras to get the
results,including the registration problems and getting the exposure times
correct and so on. I can understand why Sbig shyed off ,it is really just
another niche in the market awkward to fill at present and already filled by
another very competent manufacturer in the form of Mr T.P.
