I have a used lx200 on the way, which has version 2.51 rom. I Have two
questions:

1. What are the major differences between 2.51, and the most recent
roms. I know that 2.51 only has 1000 stars, and no HP, but are there any
other major feature missing? The one feature that I am most concerned about
is the ability to resync using the undocumented feature on the Mapug
Archive. I need this feature if I can fix what I mention in #2.
2. I was able to get the scope very cheap due to a minor problem that
it exhibits. When you align the scope and goto you first star, it hits the
star right on the money, but it then takes about 10-15 seconds for the ra to
kick in, and of course the star drifts out of view messing up the alignment.
Is there an easy way to fix this? I was told that the two screws that are
used to adjust this are stripped. If this is the case, I am hoping to be
able to either tap some new screws, or rig it.
