I had a similar problem with my LX-50, so I designed a leveling plate thatg
sits between the scope and tripod. Leveling takes only minutes! It's not cheep
to make, unless you have your own machine shop. Mine cost over $200.
I/m redesigning it to be less expensive but It's not ready for distribution
just yet. I expect to sell the plans and bill of material for $10.. If you are
interested, I'll let you know when it's done.
