While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I looked back in my old messages and didn't see anything from you earlier.
What was the problem you were having? From what I've heard, and from my
limited personal experience, JMI seems to have very nice equipment, but I'd
have to think twice about using other than the Meade factory positioning
equipment on an LX200. It's not perfect, but it does seem to do a pretty
good job for the price. If you're going to all that trouble, why not just
sell the LX200 and get a whole new scope? I really like the ergonomics of
their NGT line of scopes (at least as far as I can tell from the
advertisements, never having seen one in person.) I sometimes get a cramp
in my neck getting to the eyepiece on my LX200 when viewing near the zenith.
