Hi all,
Hope that someone may come up with an answer to this one.
Friday night, I set up the LX200, levelled it, & alt-az aligned on Altair &
Deneb, no problems. All the GOTOs worked fine.
Sat night, set up, levelled, aligned again on Altair & Deneb. This time,
the GOTO for the Moon was consistently one diameter out (trailing).
Re-aligned; same error. Tried via software (Starry Night) - all OK, spot
on. Tried keypad again - error. Checked against M57 from keypad - spot on.
Tried the Moon again - error.
Why? Anyone with any ideas? I could understand if I was getting a
consistent error everywhere, or if the software failed as well, but just the
Moon, and just from the handset?
