Hi all -- Following up on my M9 of a couple of weeks ago, I've now
posted a series of images of M28 taken on 08/09/99. They are at 27
microns with the ST7-E/AO7 combination (12" LX200), and today I
added the 18 micron series taken the same night.
The 18 micron series is now my prefered group because of the
"rounder" stars (even though there is a little less detail showing).
The LRGB processing did not result in a satisfying image (overly
saturated with "white" stars)in StellaImage 2, so Photoshop was used
for the LRGB with nice results. Processing details and steps used are
included.
Processed with StellaImage 2 DDP and Photoshop, the M28 is better
yet (IMHO) than the M9, with the star color ballance rather closely
resembling Dr. Okano's M13.

Enjoy!
