While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

This will probably sound like a dumb question but what is the correct procedure to balance an LX tube assembly?

Do you balance the tube against the CCD etc before doing an alignment and then remove everything and do an alignment with an unbalanced scope? Obviously you can't release the drives once aligned and we have been warned about using the 'balancing' mode
on the LX. Can anyone clarify this for me?
