Your pointing accuracy should be better than that..............What
happens when you do a simple alignment, how is the pointing accuracies???
Having your scope level should not present a problem for finding
objects and the synching on a known star is used only when your have done
a previous alignment not for the your first alignment. Also, after you
have precision dec drift aligned try synching on a known object in the
West than slew to the East and synch on another object. Than see how
accurate the objects that fall in the middle..................ric
