Mike, I have the same problem in alt-az mode (I dont use a wedge). The
object is consistantly out of the eyepiece fov when the goto is more than 30
degrees. I suspect that you are correct in your assumption that the alignment
of the forks is off by a substantial amount . If you discover a way to
resolve the problem without sending the scope back to Meade (a return to
Meade only guarantees a scopeless couple of months... not a proper repair),
