While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I have decided to take the plunge and purchase a CCD camera. I like the
color images I have seen posted by other members of the list, and would like
to accomplish the same thing without having to spend a fortune or fool with
color wheels.

To that end I have been looking at the Starlight Xpress MX5-C. I realize
that this is not what you would call a "high-end" camera, but the images I
have seen look quite acceptable. Does anyone have any experience with this
camera? I would appreciate some feedback from other owners of this, or any
other, CCD camera. Any suggestions on choices for a first CCD camera are
welcome!
